While this scriptwriting project might not seem the most impressive, being of a relatively small volume and for a local client, New Concept Living, it is here for a reason: to show that I can deliver the same quality in all three languages I work in—English, German, and Romanian. I am also trying to get a huge follow-up going for this one, but we're not there yet; so, for now, check out the link below and enjoy Sibiu. All the pics in this presentation are shot by me, by the way, so if you don't need a scriptwriter, maybe you'll hire me as a photographer instead.

Why we ♥ Sibiu
This might seem like the plot of a Hallmark movie at first glance: a copywriter returns to his hometown, 20 years after graduation, to write the script for a video about what makes the place so special. Well, it's a bit more than that, because this was actually an advertorial commissioned by a local real estate development company that wanted to showcase all the positive things about Sibiu in order to attract investors. It also has a subliminal political undertone, but only you will ever know that. The script for the clip is written in three languages—English, German, and Romanian—is read by renowned actors, and created a massive buzz online. Unfortunately, WordPress didn't allow me to embed the video in the Portfolio section, so I compiled a playlist with all three versions of the clip, which you can access via the link in the project description. Warum wir Hermannstadt ♥
Auf den ersten Blick mag sich das wie ein VOX-Film anhören: Ein Copywriter kehrt nach 20 Jahren in seine Heimatstadt zurück, um ein Skript für ein Video zu schreiben, das hervorheben soll, was diesen Ort so besonders macht. Aber da steckt eigentlich viel mehr dahinter, denn es handelt sich um ein Advertorial im Auftrag eines lokalen Immobilienentwicklungsunternehmens, das potenzielle Investoren nach Hermannstadt locken will. Zusätzlich hat das Ganze auch einen unterschwelligen politischen Unterton, aber das weiß außer dir niemand. Das Videoskript ist dreisprachig (Englisch, Deutsch und Rumänisch), wurde von namhaften Schauspielern eingesprochen und hatte online sofort riesigen Erfolg. Leider erlaubt es dieses WordPress-Template nicht, Videos in die Portfolio-Sektion einzubetten; daher habe ich eine YouTube-Playlist mit allen drei Versionen des Clips zusammengestellt. La prima vedere, proiectul acesta poate părea scenariul unui film de pe Acasă TV: un copywriter se întoarce după 20 de ani în orașul natal pentru a scrie scriptul unui videoclip care să arate ce face acest loc atât de special. Păi, de fapt e mult mai mult decât atât, pentru că este vorba despre un advertorial comandat de o firmă locală de dezvoltare imobiliară care vrea să atragă investitori la Sibiu. Pe lângă asta, mai are și un subtext politic subliminal, dar asta rămâne între noi. Scriptul pentru acest clip este scris în trei limbi, engleză, germană și română, este lecturat de actori renumiți și a avut un impact online imediat. Din păcate, WordPress nu îmi permite să adaug videoclipuri în secțiunea de Portofoliu, așa că am realizat un playlist cu toate cele trei versiuni ale clipului, listă pe care o poți accesa prin linkul din descrierea proiectului.
